Heather Quee
A senior stylist with 17 years experience, Heather is an expert of fulfilling your hair needs. Her focus is on the balance of maintaining the integrity and health of your hair while working towards the style of your dreams. Heather is a full time stylist who often is taking a waitlist for new clients.
When she is out of the salon, she’s most likely either hiking coastal mountains with friends, traveling to a new city or taking long strolls with her dog Essie.
Janna Coleman
Janna has been doing hair for over 20 years. Skilled and creative, she is always striving to help you achieve your hair goals. She’s a well-rounded and versatile stylist who loves edgy, creative cuts and colours, all types of highlighting techniques, short cuts and curly hair. Hailing from Ontario, Janna has called Victoria home since 2009. When she’s not behind the chair she likes to make art, play piano or just binge some Netflix with her cat daughter, Bunny.
Monika Turner
Monika is a vibrant and versatile hairstylist who moved to Victoria from the Okanagan valley in 2022. They have been working their magic behind the chair for over 8 years, creating stunning transformations for their clients. As a non-binary POC, they are passionate about creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone, especially those who want to express their identity through their hair. Monika specializes in:
• Colour services, with a soft spot for vivids and balayage and colour corrections
• Gender affirming haircuts, tailored to each individual’s preferences and needs
• Curly hair care, using techniques and products that enhance natural texture and shine
When you book an appointment with Monika, you can expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, a thorough and honest consultation, and a style/colour that suits your personality and lifestyle. Monika’s goal is to make you feel confident and happy with your hair.
In their free time, Monika loves exploring the island with their wife and two dogs, enjoying nature and adventure.
Erik Aalbers
Erik is a junior stylist who moved to Victoria over a decade ago from the Netherlands where he was born and raised. After a career in technology, Erik decided to enrol in hair school in his 30s to follow his second passion - hair.
He has already found a passion for cutting bobs, shampoo and blowouts, and helping clients achieve their healthy hair goals. He knows his way around a round brush and takes special care with shampoo and scalp massages because, as he likes to say, “why rush the best part?”
When he is not in the salon, Erik loves tinkering with tech projects, usually building or upgrading computers to support his video game habit. He also enjoys spending time with his partner and two cats in beautiful Fernwood.
